Which means that the bullet has a 7.62 calibre and preformance is practically identical to a 7.62 hunting round.BigDemonicBunnynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649591714373684167.post-28769154948334229212012-11-20T09:37:52.469-05:002012-11-20T09:37:52.469-05:00Not published online. The hunters posed the pig and Oleg knew how to set up for a good shot; I was only the monkey behind the camera. What Oleg hasn't shown you is all the pictures I took that were slightly out of focus, or cut the head off the pig, or were otherwise unusable. ;)Erin Palettehttp://lurkingrhythmically.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649591714373684167.post-17379399171850399252012-11-20T09:33:59.282-05:002012-11-20T09:33:59.282-05:00This particular RFB was chambered in .308, assumin...This particular RFB was chambered in .308, assuming I am remembering correctly. Which is fine for a well placed shot, and quite appropriate for a feral pig.<br />I'm not sure I'd trust 7.62 for a proper wild boar though (but then you don't have those in the states). It's definitely enough for a spine/head shot, but for a shouldershot on a wild boar I probably wouldn't feel safe with anything smaller than a 8mm mauser round.BigDemonicBunnynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649591714373684167.post-4039573472921612912012-11-20T07:16:03.700-05:002012-11-20T07:16:03.700-05:00So, will there be photos of you?So, will there be photos of you?SeanSorrentinonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6649591714373684167.post-13818220746685236242012-11-20T04:45:11.397-05:002012-11-20T04:45:11.397-05:00YOU took that shot?
