Dare I hope?

From the Associated Press:
LOS ANGELES - Fans trumpeting the cause of CBS' canceled drama "Jericho" have caught the network's ear. CBS, deluged with calls, messages and shipments of nuts signifying viewer displeasure, is reconsidering its decision, a source close to the production said Tuesday.

The source spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment publicly. A decision on whether to bring the show back, probably for a midseason run, is imminent, the source said.

Dear God/Eris/Occupant:

I will give up my dreams of conquering Eastern Europe if you make this happen.

Signed,

Erin Palette

  3. You're going to have to make a better offer than that. Not conquering Eastern Europe is like telling someone you won't steal a box of cat-urine-soaked shop rags from their garage...

  4. ...but I want to conquer Eastern Europe!

My intention is to become the Benevolent Dictatrix of Nerdslyvania, with free broadband internet access for all citizens.

Plus, it's my firm belief that wars and rebellions are started by people who don't get enough sex; thus my secret police, the Coitus Commandos, will be sent after those plotting unrest and dispatch them by fucking them into submission.

Why Eastern Europe? For starters, I think the populace would welcome a ruler like me. Also, aren't you tired of the constant bloodshed in the Balkans?

Also, it's as far away from France as you can get and still be on the same continent.

  7. Dear God/Eris/Occupant, just so you know, Erin promised not to invade eastern Europe. I've never actually seen Jericho, so am not bound to any such contract.

Cheers! or should I say, Dosvidanya!
