Come ON, people

I mean, really.

I've given you over FOUR THOUSAND words of fiction, in total, and so far I've only gotten two comments -- both of which I've had to actively solicit.

Throw me a bone, people. I'm an artist. Without attention, I'll die.

  1. I feel so guilty. I understand this completely, and will probably suffer it myself when I start posting my own novel, but I haven't had time to read any of it. I plan to, though, eventually, and when I do I promise I'll comment. I glanced at the first chapter and it looked promising. So please don't stop.

  2. I don't know what I can that I haven't in previous Curse/Or posts.

I don't really read into a story. I don't look for hidden meanings or what message the author is trying to pass on. I tend to take my stories at face value, so if you're looking for some deep and insightful response from me, you're not going to get it.

I love the story line, taking a negative (cancer) and turning it into a positive (some weird cancer driven super power), even if the main character scares the crap out of me =)

That's about as deep as I get =)

You seem to have an ability to actually bring me into the characters mind. Which is actually quite disturbing in this case as she's really an unpleasant person. =)

  3. On an unrelated note, you should feel honored (or is that stalked?). While I read some half dozen other blogs, yours is the only one that I'm actually subscribed to via my Google homepage.

So that should tell how much I enjoy your writings =)

  4. I'm drunk. I'll post a comment when I dry out :)

  5. I'm going to catch up on your writing ASAP. At least I have an excuse, a hurricane just clobbered my city.

I don't know what these fools are trying to pass off as an excuse.
