Monday Gunday: On a related topic...

Since my previous attempt to fill out my stripped AR lower failed, is there anyone out there who would be willing to give me a similar (albeit non-flaky) deal?

Cut me a discount for a lower parts kit, stock, buffer tube etc, and in exchange I will tell everyone on my blog how awesome you are.

(Yes, I know it's begging and pandering, but turning pretty words into gold is about the only profitable skill I have, so I'm going to make use of it any chance I get.)

  1. Begging and pandering are perfectly acceptable skills-see every pol in the last hundred years. :D

  2. I don't know if I can link, but Palmetto State Armory puts their lower build kits on sale every other weekend, usually for $80 plus shipping. They are normally 104-114. Heck, they have a MOE build kit for $109. I bought one of their lower kits and stock kits, it is every bit as good as the Armalite kits in my other rifles. They can take a little while to ship, though my last order shipped in 2 business days.

  3. I've got a Stag lower parts kit with a right handed safety. I had to buy the whole kit for the dedicated lefty safety because they don't sell it seperate and ambi's suck. $50/free shipping. Drop me an email if you're interested.

  4. I concur with this statement, PSA's build kits are very reasonably priced.  I picked up a complete lower build kit that came with a ton of Magpul parts (winter trigger guard, MOE grip, and STR stock) for $150.  The stock alone retails for about $100, so breaking down the total cost, the LPK, buffer tube/spring and pistol grip/trigger guard cost $50 all together, which is pretty good all things considered.

PSA's shipping can be very erratic though, my package took nearly 7 weeks to get to me!  If you aren't in a hurry, PSA is the way to go for good quality bargain priced parts.

  5. Yeah -- heck, you can search Amazon and beat your previous supplier!
